Day 36|37|38|39|40 : twenty-six.

April 10th, 1991: the world gained another Hobbit. Her name: Charlotte Ruby Anne.

It is currently 8:17am on the morning of April 10th, 2017 (my 26th Birthday) and I currently have not shown any new signs of aging. Hearing my own self say, “I am 26”, is one thing that seems strange. The main thing that seems odd is when I looked in the mirror this morning and thought to myself that it was my 26th birthday but I don’t “look” 26 (or maybe I do?). I know for sure that I will never act my age. Is that even a thing anymore? Do adults actually act the age that they are? I don’t think so. Majority of people want to feel young, act young, look young, be young.

Before all of the people older than 26 freak out and say that 26 is young, I know it is. I just would prefer to be in my early 20’s forever and not my mid-late 20’s. But, I am excited for a new year to experience as a new age. Fears to get over, boundaries to break, places to see, and friends to make – apparently I am a poet now!

25 and feelin’ alive has come to an end. Now on to 26 and… binge watchin’ Netflix – which I already do too much of so I am off to a great start!

*** Also, I have made new rules for this project (because it is mine and I will do with it what I wish). As long as I am in the photo, it’s good to go (see shadow photo). πŸ™‚ ***

  1. I can’t get over the fact that I’m going to be 29 in a few months. I certainly don’t feel THAT old. 😳

I love that last picture. So pretty! πŸ’– I need a cardigan like that and some ripped jeans. 😊

    1. Haha! Everyone feels different at certain ages. I think my issue is is that I don’t feel the age that I am (or look it), so it doesn’t feel right.

And thank you! The cardigan and jeans are AE! They are both my go-to/ most worn/ I wear them too much pieces, haha!
